Here is a wonderful, thick, heavy duty art deco/modern upholstery fabric made for Groundworks in Germany, called Albers, after Josef Albers.

Wilkipedia: “Josef Albers (March 19, 1888 – March 25, 1976) was a German-born American artist and educator whose work, both in Europe and in the United States, formed the basis of some of the most influential and far-reaching art education programs of the 20th century.”

Joseph Albers says:  In visual perception a color is almost never seen as it really is – as it physically is. This fact makes color the most relative medium in art.” and “Any ground subtracts its own hue from the colors which it carries and therefore influences.”

We have this fabric in two colors:

In both fabrics, the colors are intermixed throughout the stripes, forming different hues of the following colors:

1. See the First Five Pictures:  black, green, red, orange, and blue.
OAC Colors:  Green: oac131; Red: oac607; Orange: oac695; Blue: oac279.

2. See the Last Three Pictures:  black, blush, old rose, slate blue, grey.

OAC Colors: Blush: oac550; Old Rose: oac632; Slate Blue: oac240; Grey: oac690, and black.

The fabric is thick and heavy. It has a very high score for durability: 50,000 Double Rubs.  Very nice texture and feel; please see pictures.
