Here is a delightful and highly collectible ensemble composed of 2 brass containers in the form of mushrooms sitting on a round brass tray.  The brass is black lacquered in places, and clear lacquered as well.

This set is attributed to the Wiener Werkstaette (Vienna Secession), around 1920.  The larger mushroom and the tray are both marked “A.W” and “Made in Austria.”

Condition: some paint is missing on the three pieces, the smaller mushroom’s cap is slightly cracked, the larger mushroom’s base shows 2 shallow bumps.  Please look at all of the pictures.

Tray: 7″ Diameter

Large Mushroom Container: 3″ Cap Diameter, 2″ Base Diameter, 3 1/2″ high.

Small Mushroom Container: 2″ Cap Diameter, 1 1/2″ Base Diameter, 2 1/4″ high.
