Here is an early 20th Century mahogany and copper stand or side table.  This is an unusual design that rallies arts & crafts, art nouveau and art deco in one piece.

The base and top are covered with hammered copper (not brass). Stylized art nouveau copper flowers are applied on each side of the pedestal.  The flowers are similar in design to the Charles Rennie Mackintosh art nouveau rose.

In solid and veneer mahogany with a hammered copper base and top.  The table is heavy and very stable.

Condition:  wear consistent with age:  scratches and wear on the wooden parts, the copper has dings and scratches as well.  There is one repair (filler) on the lower shelf.  Also, please note that two of the copper flowers are incomplete.

Measurements:  29″ High; Top is 19.5″ x 19.5″ , Base is 18″ x 18″.
