Here is a beautiful Napoleonic Lampas made in Italy for Lee Jofa in the Azure (light blue) colorway. The pattern is composed of a bee encircled by a wreath of laurel, both chosen by Napoleon in 1804 as symbols of the New French Empire.

The last two pictures show this fabric used on an American Empire sofa.
Colors: Azure (Blue.): a mix of two blue threads: oac262 & 248, that form a strie effect, as you can see in the pictures, embroidered with silk threads, yellow oac856 and white.
