Lee Jofa Cotton Marot Velvet Damask Ruby Red

Here is a wonderful cotton damask print velvet made in Italy for Lee Jofa, and called Marot Velvet.  The color is a very deep ruby red, hard to find nowadays, as a result this fabric is so difficult to photograph!  It is possible to get a cutting of it.  Please contact us.

This short pile velvet shimmers with the light from deep true ruby red to a softer red, the background has a soft out of focus strie in the background, and scattered soft orange “patina” spots to give it an antique look.  The result is a sophisticated, large pattern (28″ high x 26.5″ wide), deep ruby red damask that will look dynamite on an antique armchair or loveseat.

This fabric is suitable for upholstery, drapery, pillows, and any other home decor project.
