A very nice Art Nouveau/Art Deco box made in Gotha, Germany by the Kallmeyer & Harjes Metallfabriken, circa 1910-1920.  The bulbous shape hammered brass box is lined with hardwood, and has an ebonized wooden knob.  Signed with the factory’s eagle mark and name on the underside.

Dimensions:  5″ square and 4.5″ tall; the inside of the box measures 3.75″ square and 2″ high.

Condition: in excellent original condition; please see the many pictures.  We did not clean or polish it in order to leave this decision to you, the collector.
