Here is a beautiful Arts and Crafts / Art Nouveau Mirror Frame in the Alfred Daguet manner, circa 1900. The repousse metal ornaments are accented with glass cabochons of various colors (blue, green, opalescent white, red) and sizes, and are attached to the wooden frame with small brass nails. The top metal portion depicts stylized snails with their antennae ending in minuscule opalescent glass cabochons; thistle flowers and leaves.

This is a large and very decorative, artfully executed mirror frame of the beginning of the 20th Century; it could also be used as an impressive frame to a significant artwork of the period.

Opening Measurements:  16.5″ tall x 13″ wide.

Condition:  The frame is in good overall condition.  The mirror silvering is pitted.  With its hanging hardware.
