1845 Dutch Silver Berry Strainer Serving Spoon SOLD

A gorgeous Dutch pierced and repousse serving berry silver spoon hallmarked 1845, lion passant (2nd standard silver – .833) and Leeuwarden as the Assay Office.  I could not decipher the maker’s mark.

The expert silversmithing of the cherries and leaves is highly intricate and a feast for the eye.  An elegant, delicate piece that will surely be cherished for generations.

Condition:  no repairs, no damage, no missing parts, this spoon is in great condition.

Dimensions:  7 3/16″ tall x 2 7/16″ at the widest.

Weight: 50 grams.
