Here is a rare and stunning Vintage 1970s Leonard Evening Dress. It is long sleeved and full length, with a generous, flowing skirt. The material is stretchy 100% silk jersey; the dress is unlined. Here are the measurements, taken flat and unstretched:
Waist: 26″
Bust: 31″
Top height from top of the shoulder to top of waistband: 15 1/2″
Waistband height: 2″
Skirt length: 42 1/2″
Overall length: 59.5″
Sleeves (from top of shoulder to end of sleeve’s wrist band): 23″
In very good vintage condition, with the following minuses:
– armpits have some discoloration (the right more so than the left), as you can see in the pictures.
– in some places, the seams need restitching: 2″ at the hip level and a few 1″ to 2″ spots at the waistband level (please see pictures).
– one tiny hole at the right armpit, as you will see in one of the pictures.
– it looks like there is some slight discoloration (very hard to distinguish, but I am trying to describe everything I can find), on the green leaves above the orange flower on the front of the dress. It might be part of the print, or not, I am not sure.
