Here is a wonderful 100% silk damask made in India for Lee Jofa and called Palace Damask, color Copenhagen. This fabric is suitable for upholstery, drapes, pillows or any home decor project or craft.
Color: This is a deep shimmering indigo blue ground, created by a mix of green and blue threads – with a pattern color difficult to describe: gold and blue threads are mixed to create a subtle contrast with the background.
Blue background: a mix of two threads: green oac111, and blue oac369; the pattern is also a mix of two threads: gold: oac856, and blue oac369
The texture is not smooth, with a feel like raw silk. There is a slight, gentle sheen to the fabric, but not a gloss like some silks might have.
