Here is a beautiful Napoleonic Lampas made in Italy for Lee Jofa in the Robin (light blue) colorway, and called Empire Bee. The pattern is composed of a bee alternating with a small sun. The bee was chosen by Napoleon in 1804 as a symbol of the New French Empire. The background is a shimmering strie in robin’s egg blue.
