Here is a wonderful 100% cotton heavy duty chenille stripe called Sheffield Chenille, color Indigo. It was made in Italy for Lee Jofa. The stripes are woven onto the chenille (please see pictures.) This is a heavy duty upholstery fabric and it can also be used for drapes, pillows, and any other home decor project.
The background is a deep, dark, pigment-saturated indigo blue; the stripes are a bright red (not hot pink as the pictures tend to suggest), warm orange, light green and slate grey. The fabric is elegant and striking, the contrast between the bright colors and the deep indigo blue is very successfully achieved.
