Here is an unusual and striking 100% Silk print made in Italy for Groundworks and called Le Cirque, color Marine. This fabric is suitable for upholstery, drapery, pillows and any other home decor project.
Colors: Navy Blue (Marine): darker, deeper than oac327; Yellow: lighter than oac847; Red: oac 579. Add to these colors the shimmering quality of the silk, and the printed highlights and shadings in white to grey for the plisse pleated effect. I have tried to photograph these, and hope they show well on your monitor.
The print is a powerful trompe l’oeil (fool the eye) giving the impression that the striped fabric is gathered, or pleated horizontally. A strong conversation piece, a head-turner fabric, that will leave no one indifferent!
