Made in Austria by Brunschwig & Fils, this is a reedition of an Art Nouveau Jugendstil Secessionist Josef Hoffmann fabric. The fabric is a very high quality, durable, tight and textured weave.
The following artists were involved in textile design at the Vienna Workshops which were founded in 1903: Mathilde Flögl, Lotte Föchler-Frömmel, Josef Hoffmann, Hilda Jesser, Ludwig Heinrich, Maria Likarz, Rita Luzzatte, Koloman Moser, Dagobert Peche, Kitty Rix, Max Snischek and Franz von Zülo.
This is a late 20th Century reedition of an original 1900s pattern.
