An unusual and rare water 19th Century reservoir dating in the form of a pomegranate, with a small brass faucet, a lid topped by three leaves, and a plate in its back to affix to the wall; made of pewter. With a touch mark under the lid, “S A K ..V?” Found in Germany.
Condition: in very good overall antique condition, with some wear and a few small cracks around the top opening. Please see the pictures.
Dimension 16″ overall height – 7″ projection from the wall (including the faucet) – the pomegranate’s diameter is 6″.
