Here is a framed Limoges Enamel on Copper Plaque signed by the famous Maitre Emailleur Jean Betourne. The nautical subject matter is unusual for this artist. Sailboats head for the high sea at sunrise. We have another Betourne maritime plaque available for sale in another listing (sailboats return to port in the warm sunset light), both would make a great pair!

Condition: in excellent vintage condition, please see the pictures. There is one very small touchup on the gilding near the plaque, please see picture #3.

Approximate Dimensions: 8 1/4″ high x 7″ wide x 1 3/8″ deep for the frame, and the plaque itself: 2 1/2″ wide x 3 5/8″ high.
