Here is a striking and elegant early 20th Century French Belle Epoque Veined Cream Alabaster and Bronze Doré Six-Light Chandelier.
The intricate gilt bronze frame consists of 3 twisted and knotted ropes held in lions’ jaws to the ornate concentric ceiling canopy; from these ropes hangs a large round turned and carved veined alabaster bowl with one interior light supporting six scrolled arms from which hang articulated bells holding delicate scalloped cream alabaster shades.
Condition: Excellent condition, polished and rewired, ready to hang.
