SOLD Here is a stylish circa 1920s Art Deco Brass and Zinc plated iron stand, made in Germany.
The top, lower shelf and apron are hammered Zinc plated iron. The iron legs are decorated with repousse Brass in a floral pattern typical of the Art Deco era. The top and apron are hammered and decorated with the same Art Deco Floral pattern.
The brass banding/edging around the top is inscribed with the following: “Ehrenpreis des Kreises Norden – Kreismanderschau Norden 1926” translating to: “Honorary Prize of the circle of Norden – Kreismanderschau Norden 1926.”
The condition is good, with some signs of use and age, mainly a few dings on the top’s brass edging and mild wear on the center of the top; the stand is strong and stable. Please see the pictures.
